MacHeist is offering a free bundle of apps made for Apple Computers. The six software titles the bundle comes with are: ShoveBox, WriteRoom, Twitterrific, TinyGrab, Hordes of Orcs, and Mariner Write.Here is a quick preview of each app:
- Mariner Write seems to be the class of the software bundle. It appears to be an enhanced version of the ever famous Microsoft Word.
- Twitterrific will appeal to the fans of that social service.
- Hordes of the Orcs is the lone video game of the bundle - it's a tower defense game.
- Tiny Grab is a screenshot program that simplifies the process.
- WriteRoom seems like a waste of hardware space, it's a rudimentary text editor. We ended up deleting this specific piece of software after downloading it.
- ShoveBox is useful for those who like to keep organized, I don't fall under that category personally.
